In Isola 2000, snow sports, fun atmosphere and discovery of new activities for the highest ski domain of the Alpes-Maritimes. Teenagers will love this trendy resort. In addition to skiing, in the footsteps of champions, they can try their skills in the snowpark or on the boarder cross. For the little ones, the family park and its numerous facilities allow an initiation to snowboarding in all security.

And this year there is something new with the moonbike, which combines the efficiency of an electric bike with the power of a snowmobile, as well as the snake gliss for a thrilling sled ride!

Auron

In Auron, you can enjoy the intimacy of a village and 135 km of slopes, with as well as a snow park and a family park. La Colmiane

Head to La Colmiane, a family ski resort offering 30 km of pistes and 6 ski lifts. The French ski school allows the youngest to discover skiing with morning or afternoon packages. Go to the village swimming pool for a bit of relax or play on the inflatable structures.

You will also discover its giant zip line with an overall length of 2663 metres for a lot of excitement. I would recommend a duo descent with children aged 8 and over and weighing at least 30 kg for an unforgettable experience .

Roubion-Les-Buisses

Roubion- Les Buisses is the outdoor resort. Roubion has everything you need to be active all year round. For starters, you will only have to wait a short time at the ski lifts to access the 30 km of alpine ski runs. Here you can also discover snowshoeing with your family, alone or with friends, or enjoy an experience in the heart of nature with your children.

It is also the ideal resort to practice Nordic skiing with your family and to initiate young and adults to the sport.

Turini – Camp d’Argent

Turini – Camp d’Argent is the closest resort to Nice. You can literally see the sea and the peaks at a glance.

Some ski slopes for a discovery of the activity, ski touring, snowshoeing and sledging. A new feature this year is the snooc, which is a halfway through skiing
and sledging, and is available for hire to take down the slopes.

The best deals for skiing with your family without breaking the bank

In Auron and Isola 2000, the family package with 4 passes purchased (and more) including at least one adult pass and two children’s passes offers discounts of up to 10%.

For those who like to plan ahead, there is also the Nice Price package. If you buy your package in advance on the internet, you can get up to 50% off the price of the day package ( except for school holidays and weekends).

For beginners who want to discover skiing with their family, the resorts of Auron and Isola 2000 offer great deals to enjoy their ski area.

Firstly, the free beginner’s pass gives you access to the ski lifts on the snow front to learn the basics. Then, to boost your confidence, the discovery pass will allow you to take adults and children on a section of the ski area at a reduced rate. You will then be ready to take your classic pass to enjoy all the slopes!

Lessons for everyone : Ski schools

In all our resorts, the ski schools welcome you during the winter season to help children and adults discover skiing. In a very playful way and with games and learning modules, the youngest ones train in the snow garden and the Piou-Piou club.

Then, in group or individual lessons, children and adults improve their skills under the supervision of experienced instructors in the ski area.

New this year in the Auron resort: the ski/childcare package for children from 3 to 5 years old included with the ESF. In the morning, ski lessons for the little ones, then at noon their instructor accompanies them to the day nursery for an afternoon of rest and activities until 5pm.

Activities for all ages

Take advantage of your stay in the mountains to discover all the other activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family. You’ll go home with a suitcase full of good memories and laughter.

The snow front is home to safe toboggan runs for children and adults.

On snowshoes or on foot, share with local guides and leaders the experience of nature and animal tracking. Little trappers’ workshops or igloo building are particularly adapted to the youngest. In the evening or during the day, you will find the most suitable activity for you and the prices are adapted to the size of your group.

Snowshoe walk on the musical path to the top of the Calmette, sea view!

The Sentier Musical de la Calmette is an art and hiking trail that opens onto the landscape, combining a forest atmosphere with exceptional viewpoints. It displays contemporary sculptures in the middle of nature, between larch and spruce trees, set in the landscape and composing with it.

At the top: Picnic tables and an orientation table, all free and accessible to all!

Other activities are available for you to enjoy in the resort programmes: treasure hunts, escape games, après-ski swimming pool, ice rink, dog sledding, you’ll be spoilt for choice…
