The summer toboggan – La Colmiane
During a day organized by our works council, I had the opportunity to test in particular the summer toboggan of the mountain resort of La Colmiane.
While others jumped in the air, hanging on the longest zip line in France, also proposed on this site, I thought I had chosen a quieter and lower dose adrenaline activity, more suited to my tastes…
In the queue, colleagues who have already done the zip line tell me that toboggan provides, according to them, even more sensations.
Once installed in the sled, the man in charge of the installation confirms to me that the luge is more “speed” than the zip line … Here I am somewhat worried but reassured by the fact that I hold the power to brake at leisure !
In spite of the simple and light aspect of the luge, it seems well attached to its rail… The descent with many bends then begins and I begin to understand the advice given by my colleagues. Indeed, some passages were steep and made me appreciate the effectiveness of the brake, being reluctant to be intoxicated by speed …
On arrival, the desire to start again by letting go and using the brake less!

Luge on monorail with brake and seat belt.
Access to the summer toboggan from 3 years and up to 1m35. Children must be accompanied by a person over 15 years.
