Discover the “Iles de Lérins” with the French Riviera Pass – Cannes
My friends and I had the opportunity to go for a day trip to the Lerins Islands, thanks to the French Riviera Pass!
We haven’t regretted our visit at all. Only 700 metres from the Croisette, opposite the Bay of Cannes, the charm of the Lérins Islands is felt even before touching land!
We landed on the first island (Ile Ste Marguerite), accompanied by the sun and the song of the cicadas. Like its neighbour (Ile St Honorat), this island abounds in incredible natural panoramas as well as places to relax and swim!
If, during your summer, you don’t know what to do, this is the perfect place to go with your family, friends or even alone! Ideal to recharge your batteries with nature! A real corner of paradise!
To visit:
- The Royal Fort and its Marine Museum,
- The Convention Fort,
- The village composed of restaurants and fishermen’s houses
- The alleys lined with Mediterranean species and which cross the island on both sides,
- The pond of Batéguier, site hosting many migratory birds.

Good deal
Equipped with our “French Riviera Pass”, our crossing on board a Trans Côte d’Azur boat from Cannes cost us nothing! The pass exists in 3 versions (24, 48 or 72hrs). If you wish to spend the day on the islands, the 24h pass is not financially worthwhile. Opt rather for the 48hr or 72hr pass! To buy on line or in the information offices of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau.
