Valvital Spa of Berthemont-les-Bains
As a resident of the Vésubie Valley and a student in Nice, I have found a solution to decompress when I come home at weekends: the thermal spa of Berthemont-Les-Bains (Roquebillière municipality). The thermal center (unique in the Alpes-Maritimes), located in the heart of the mountains makes me quickly forget the atmosphere of the city thanks to its exceptional setting.
In order to fully enjoy the aqua-relaxation area, I arrive at the opening at 13:30. I enjoy the complex all afternoon and I stay in the water until the last minute (closing at 18:30).
I start with a bath in the two thermal pools with their water at 33 °. One of these pools is particularly nice with its jacuzzis, fountains and swimming against the current. Then, depending on the mood of the moment, I take group aquagym classes.
To continue, I go to the steam room and Swedish-style sauna. These two spaces combined, passing from a wet heat to a dry one allow a relaxation in depth.
At any time, nothing better than a moment of “idleness” in the sun outdoors with a jacuzzi on the terrace-solarium with panoramic views of the mountains.
And if I’m a little hungry, I know I can eat on site at the cafe restaurant “Le Panorama”, which is actually aptly named.
Finally, I recommend the “a la carte” treatments that complement this afternoon on the theme of relaxation.
Good bath, good relaxation …

The spa provides a bathrobe and towel. Provide a swimsuit (underpants and freegun forbidden), sandals or flip-flops in clean plastics.
