Visit Roubion with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau
Roubion’s five hamlets are scattered amid meadows and forest between 1,335 and 1,920m above sea level.
The fortified village clings proudly to a cliff overlooking the valley from its ramparts. Its Mediaeval style, steep narrow streets and many old vaulted passageways lead to a breath-taking viewpoint. Located on the Route des Grandes Alpes, Roubion also has a small alpine ski resort (30km of ski runs).

Heritage
The Painted Doors tour
Brought back to life by the artist Imelda BASSANELLO, many of these old doors have become a reminder of the trades of yesteryear or the daily agricultural or pastoral scenes that were part of the lives of our ancestors.
Discover these doors as you wander through the narrow streets, sometimes with a commentary by their proud owners.
