The Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes is one of France’s biggest marathons, renowned for its exceptional course between sea and palm trees and the impressive size of its field. Awarded the AIMS label and recognized by the FFA, it is an event of international prestige, named in 2018 by the Forbes Travel Guide as the “World’s Most Beautiful Tourist Marathon”.
Complete the 42.195-kilometre route with an emblematic start on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice and a remarkable finish on the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes.
Since its creation in 2008, almost 175,000 runners from 60 nations have taken part in the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes, attracted by the beautiful scenery and pleasant climate. The marathon has attracted thousands of competitors from all over the world.

How to participate ? 🏃🏽♂️
The Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes offers several race formats. Choose the distance that suits you best: run the full 42.195 kilometers, share the effort with a partner by running 21.1 kilometers each, opt for a 20-kilometer course, or register as a team of 3 to 6 runners for the marathon relay.
This event will once again be the stage for some great sporting moments, with a top-class line-up of athletes. For the record, the current event record of 2h07’25” has been held since 2018 by Ethiopia’s Abrha MILAW.
