Practical information – Summer 2025
The route and timetable of the Maeght – Matisse shuttle will be announced closer to the 2025 summer season.
Chapelle du Rosaire
The Chapelle du Rosaire (known as the Chapelle Matisse), designed and decorated by Matisse, is lit by magnificent tricolored stained glass windows (yellow, blue and green), and is considered by the painter himself to be his masterpiece.
Discreet on the outside, the Chapelle du Rosaire stands out only for its white and blue tiled roof and 13-meter-high wrought-iron cross.
Maeght Foundation
Nestled just a stone’s throw from the famous village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, the Fondation Maeght is now one of the world’s leading art collections. Inaugurated in 1964 by André Malraux, it is dedicated to modern art and celebrates its 60th anniversary this year!
The Fondation Maeght was designed entirely for and with artists. Indeed, many works of art adorn the building, including mosaic murals by Chagall and Tal Coat. The interior and exterior spaces are embellished by the sculpture garden, courtyards, terraces, patios and chapel.
The Fondation Maeght welcomes visitors to a unique and timeless place where art, architecture and nature interact in perfect harmony.
