9 June 2023

Nice will host the world’s leading tourism intermediation show in 2026!

Nice has been selected to host the Rendez-Vous en France trade show in 2026. 1,000 tour operators and journalists from all over the world will be discovering our destination at this trade show organised by Atout France!

The year 2026 will see the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, and more specifically the city of Nice, become the global epicentre of tourism intermediation.

The Rendez-vous en France trade show will be held in Nice, further enhancing the region’s tourism profile. Indeed, this event makes it easier to promote the region throughout the year, given the preference of international tourists to visit the region at different times of the year, depending on their nationality. And it stimulates sustainable tourism that supports the local economy.

Organised by Atout France, the Rendez-vous en France trade fair is an opportunity to showcase the region’s destinations. Over the course of several days, the event welcomes almost 1,000 tour operators and travel agents from all over the world, who come to take part in workshops, presentations and discoveries about the destination. The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region has already hosted two editions of the event with the city of Nice in 2010, and the city of Marseille in 2019 with the Regional Tourism Committee Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

At the 16th edition of France’s largest tourism intermediation show, held this year in Paris, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur delegation already had more than 100 exhibitors on its regional stand: hoteliers, incoming agencies, transporters, cultural venues, tourist offices, tourism development agencies, etc. After Toulouse in Occitanie for the 17th edition in 2024 and Lyon in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in 2025, Nice will take over in 2026 to host the 19th edition of this major tourism event.

The Regional Tourism Committee Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office were able to convince Atout France with their collective and committed project, while integrating the CSR dimension into the whole process of staging the event for sustainable and committed tourism.
