Dive in the heart of Nice, the Riviera Winter Resort City, thanks to our new facilities!
Since 2021, part of the city of Nice has been on UNESCO’s World Heritage List as a ‘Riviera Winter Resort City’. The Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office is committed to promoting this distinction by offering innovative products and services: virtual tours, applications, street signposting, etc.
On 4 October 2024, the Nice Côte d’Azur Tourist Office (OTM) launched 3 new features based around the UNESCO World Heritage site. These 3 products are designed to promote Nice as ‘The Riviera’s Winter Resort City’ to the general public:
- The virtual tour offers an immersive experience from the comfort of your own home, with over 70 panoramic views, anecdotes, archive images, audio commentary and videos.
- The Nice Côte d’Azur application guides visitors through a series of carefully designed itineraries around the emblematic sites of the UNESCO-listed area.
- The markers in the town remind visitors of the special value of the site they are visiting. Plaques, totems and ground studs have been installed within the UNESCO-listed area and in front of emblematic sites.
