OTM Nice Côte d’Azur celebrates its 30th anniversary at Villa Masséna!

Villa Masséna, the stage for the 30th anniversary of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office EPIC

This year marks an important step for the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Office (OTM NCA), which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a grand evening was held in the sumptuous Villa Masséna, presided over by Christian Estrosi and François de Canson.

To celebrate this anniversary, OTM NCA is launching a new annual event: the Rencontres du Tourisme de Demain, round-table discussions bringing together industry professionals to share their thoughts on the evolution of the offer and sustainable tourism. Join us on October 3, 2025 for the 2nd edition of these meetings!

The evening was also an opportunity to talk about the latest projects of OTM NCA:

  • A presentation of Nice’s listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the initiatives taken to promote this distinction: virtual visit, application for visits, road studs, etc. But there are also a number of projects in preparation, including the Nice Hôtel Historique label, a promotional film and a book with Éditions GILLETTA.
  • Nice Côte d’Azur in Winter campaign in partnership with the CRT Sud and Expedia.

Since its creation, the Metropolitan Tourist Office has been promoting Nice Côte d’Azur as a must-see destination. In 2024, the EPIC continued its modernisation efforts with a new visual identity that harmoniously reflects the sea and the mountains. And with increasingly dynamic communications aimed at tourists and locals alike. The results for 2024 are also promising, with events such as the Tour de France contributing to a hotel occupancy rate of over 89% and unprecedented media coverage, raising the profile of the region for an estimated advertising equivalent of €198 million.

For 2025, the OTM NCA is planning a host of events, including the UNOC, the world Gravel championship, Gad Elmaleh’s new comedy festival, Nice Boating Tomorrow, and even the world video game championships. These initiatives are part of an overall strategy to smooth out tourist activity throughout the year, by promoting the coastline as well as the middle and upper regions, and by strengthening the convention offer.
