Vie-ves! Sauvage proposes to rethink the limits of a so-called conventional collective exhibition where plastic forms would be confined to staying in their place.
Based on a curatorial proposal by Camille Franch-Guerra, the exhibition project was conceived and constructed with the invited artists. Exchanges, stories, archives intersect to formulate a theater where the memories of a past-present-future would reveal different material layers of our return to the feminine wild. The exhibition takes on the role of a title “reclaim” which suggests the links between the oppression of women and that of nature, proposing not only to rebel, to support but also to transfigure this concept by a poetic sting of the plural feminine being(s).
