Artistic performance proposed as part of the Biennale of Arts and the Ocean, in connection with the United Nations Conference on the Ocean.
An immersive journey in images, spatialized and choreographic sounds that explores the deep links between humans and the oceans. This multidisciplinary artistic proposal unfolds in non-dedicated spaces, transforming the place into a multisensory experience. An invitation to contemplation, a poetic and philosophical reflection on our intimate connection to the oceans and more broadly to water.
We are the product of a long cosmic and biological history, beginning with the formation of stars and leading to the emergence of the first single-celled organism in the oceans. On the screens, bodies float like a reminiscence of sensations of original intra-uterine weightlessness. Dancing bodies that defy gravity, climb underwater rocks, snow-capped mountains, ice waterfalls… Bodies that flutter, that dance… Water merges with air. Images pass from one screen to another, telescope, merge, fill with scientific data that overwhelm us daily in a flow of information without any hierarchy.
