A public pleasure garden alongside the Côte d'Azur racecourse, ideal for a seaside picnic that respects the park.
The Rainier III Park was created as part of the redevelopment of the seafront, inaugurated in 2006.
A total of 4,430 m² of ornamental trees and lawns provide rest and picnic areas just a stone's throw from the sea.
It was made possible as part of the works where the racecourse handed over the 3,000m² that were once part of their operation.
Now open to the public, they are a delight for visitors looking for a shady oasis overlooking the beach and for motorists discovering a flower-filled entrance to the town with its own distinctive trees.
The Promenades de l'Hippodrome et de la Plage are a 3km coastal walk that can be explored by bike or on foot at any time of year. The town is also home to the ‘Promenade des Arts’, with 12 works of art gracing the magnificent panorama.
