It is a hole of greenery where a thousand pleasures flow. Educational, environmental, intergenerational, leisure space... In the new Parc du Jaquon, a wonderful link between past and future has hatched. A place of meetings, exchanges, knowledge.
Three spaces: fun, historical, meeting
Offering a range of landscaped atmospheres inspired by the history of the town, the park combines agricultural heritage, games, meeting places and breaks. It is made up of three complementary spaces, all accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- On the southern part, in light terraces, the historic Laurentian crops follow one another in chronological order: olive trees, fig trees, vines, sour orange trees, carnations. They are presented in their traditional cultural form but also in small educational gardens. Plots will make it possible to accommodate workshops for picking, pruning, etc.
- On the northern part, a vast park planted with Mediterranean and tropical species, with a scenic area at its heart.
- To the east, a strip of pebbles evoking the Var river hosts all around children's games in a "natural" spirit.
