This 9th urban nature park, covering almost 11,000 m2, is adjacent to the first nature park created in 1997: the Bouleaux protected area.
The site is located on the left bank of the Cagne, ideally positioned to face the sea.
The town wanted to open up a green window onto the Mediterranean, without any construction, to regenerate the existing industrial wasteland and bring it back to life.
This new natural area is part of the major environmental project known as the ‘Coulée Bleue’, which crosses the town from north to south along the Cagne river.
This corridor will provide a direct link between the town centre and the sea, running alongside the river in an extremely pleasant setting that will encourage active modes of transport: pedestrians and cyclists.
