Notre âme commune
Theatre
From 12 to 13 December 2024
From Thursday 12 to Friday 13 December 2024.
Cyril Cotinaut and his team created Notre Âme commune as an ode to humanity.
Convinced that theater still has the powerful virtue of bringing complete strangers together in the same place at the same time, they imagine on stage intimate and shared spaces, and intertwining life paths. Like all the pieces of the soul puzzle, the show raises the universal questions of love, happiness and meaning.
"I want to talk about the human soul. That's what I hope to show on stage. And I'm convinced that when it appears, everyone will recognize it. To recognize is to be in the presence of something or someone you already know, even if you've perhaps never seen them before. I think this happens sometimes, when you fall deeply in love, or when two strangers who don't know each other are on the same wavelength. I'd like to take the idea even further: what if it were possible, through the medium of theater that brings together complete strangers, through identification with the characters and situations played out, to feel with strength, conviction and joy an indestructible bond between all the people sitting here together..."
