Jérémy Griffaud, The Garden – Festival OVNI

This project, originally designed for a VR experience that immerses you in a fantastic garden filled with unique plant species, backbones to a mysterious technological production, evokes our relationship with living beings, evolving according to scientific innovations. It questions our ethics of the artificialization of life and our productivist conception.

Jérémy Griffaud is an artist who explores the question of the spectator in hybrid realities, through devices mixing virtual and real. Using digitized watercolors, video game engines, virtual reality headsets and monumental projections, he offers immersive and interactive environments. Thus, in his installations Enlarge Yourself or The Garden, the visitor becomes a performer and the activation of the work is dependent on his involvement.
