La Dolce Vita, the Italian precept celebrating the sweetness of life, is a modern Carpe Diem popularised by the cinema of the 1950s. Inspired by this concept and Federico Fellini's iconic film, it's the theme of this 2024 edition!
It's also the name of an emblematic film by Federico Fellini, so it was only natural that images of his festive and seductive Dolce Vita should join the party, even appearing on the 2024 poster and as the opening film of the 14th edition on 22 June at 8pm!
It's also an opportunity to pay tribute to Fellini's rich and visionary filmography, to which the festival is dedicating a 6-film retrospective:
