A local cinema located in the centre of Cagnes-sur-Mer that caters for everyone, with a varied programme that focuses on arthouse films and films for young audiences, not forgetting quality entertainment.
Cagnes-sur-Mer has signed an agreement with the Fédération des MJC Méditerranée, which has undertaken to operate and run the Espace Centre cinema as part of a new project.
The cinema is open 47 weeks a year, with around a dozen screenings a week, plus school screenings and a special programme from Wednesday to Sunday during the school holidays.
Most of the programming is handled by the MJC/Maison Pour Tous de Montauroux (which already runs the cinema in Montauroux), and is aimed at a very wide audience: families, young people and even very young people...
The Espace Centre cinema also organises themed screenings in conjunction with local associations, and has forged a special partnership with the CAGNES ART CINE association, which runs its film club twice a month, on Mondays at 7pm.

Image education is at the heart of the new project, and the Espace Centre cinema pays particular attention to young audiences, forging partnerships with schools via the "École et cinéma" and "Collège au cinéma" schemes, or with leisure centres, and organising image education workshops.
Special screenings complete the programme, such as special screenings for special events (goûters chouettes, previews), with the CCAS, and in-theatre meetings between spectators and the film team.
