Come and discover our Chapel of the White Penitents. It is located in the city center of Vence.
Located on the ancient Roman road leading to Castellane, this chapel was enlarged in 1614.
From then on, it was the seat and the place of prayer of the brotherhood of the White Penitents.
Important in Provence, since the 13th century, this brotherhood had a humanitarian role in the face of poverty, illness and death.
The architectural originality of this chapel lies in its bell tower: a dome with polychrome tiles.
Restored, it is now a place of exhibitions dedicated to contemporary plastic arts.
