Explore Ilonse with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau
Ilonse is a medieval village perched 1250 m above the sea, overlooking the Tinée valley. Built in tiers, with a splendid covered wash-house with columns, superb stone facades, a Baroque chapel painted in bright yellow, a medieval arcaded covered passageway and a small square with a panoramic terrace. At the highest point of the village, an orientation table identifies all the main peaks in the Alpes-Maritimes department.
