La biodiversité marine sur la Côte d’Azur

Exhibition

From 08 March to 25 June 2025

From 08/03 to 25/06/2025
Opening hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 9 am and 5.30 pm. On Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm.

Come and count the fish seen in the sea, listen to and recognize the sounds made by its inhabitants, and observe the damage caused by ghost nets.

The “Marine Biodiversity on the Côte d'Azur” exhibition unveils the work carried out over 3 years by scientists, academics, associations and sea enthusiasts, culminating in the production of an atlas. This mapping provides a better understanding of the mosaic of habitats rich in nurseries, reveals the importance of the Posidonia meadow, and shows the great fragility of these ecosystems (disappearance of the great nacre, increase in the grouper population, damage from ghost nets and summer overactivity...). A call to the public and to participatory science has enabled all this data to be collected.
