French Para Alpine Skiing Handiski Championship: the elite of handisport skiing compete in Auron a few years before the 2030 Alpine Olympics!
Get ready to experience exceptional moments!

The French Alpine Skiing Paralympic Championship is coming to AURON – Saint Etienne de Tinée from April 2 to 5, 2025, organized by the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Handisport Committee, in collaboration with the French Handisport Federation and the French Ski Federation.
This exceptional event in our region will welcome around fifty high-level athletes who will compete in three events:
Super-G (Ciavalet-Mélèzes slope), Giant (Stade 2B slope) and Slalom (Stade 2B slope).
Handisport Slalom
The slalom in handisport skiing is a speed and technique test that takes place on a winding course marked by stakes. Athletes must go down the slope as quickly as possible while negotiating tight turns and avoiding mistakes.
Handisport Giant
The Giant Slalom in handisport skiing is an alpine skiing event that combines speed and technique. The athletes descend a longer track than the slalom, with wider and less tight turns.
Handisport Super-G
The Super-G in handisport skiing is a speed event that is between the giant slalom and the downhill in terms of course length and speed. The athletes descend a track with wider curves than those of the giant slalom, but tighter than those of the downhill.
The first two days, March 31 and April 1, will be devoted to training, followed by three days of competitions that will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day, offering an intense sporting spectacle on the snow front with podiums at 1:30 p.m. at the restaurant L’Alisier de Auron, on Thursday and Saturday.
A huge thank you to the local partners, without whom this event would not be possible: Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region / Alpes-Maritimes Department / Crédit Mutuel / AURON – Saint Etienne de Tinée / Cdsa Alpes-Maritimes and CDOS 06.
Thanks also to all the volunteers who will come to strengthen our ranks all week!
