- La Littorale – Nice/Cagnes-sur-mer
Starting from Nice or Cagnes-sur-mer, ride along the Côte d’Azur and admire the sumptuous landscapes of the Grande Bleue from the cycle track. A moment of pure happiness shared with the family awaits you during a safe and accessible ride for all levels.
Did you know ?💡 By cycling along La Littorale, you will be cycling on a section of the EuroVelo 8 route, a 7,500 km cycle route through eleven European countries.
To see: the Lympia port; Rauba Capeu; the Quai des Etats-Unis; the Promenade des Anglais; the Napoleon III Bridge; the seaside resort of Saint-Laurent-du-Var; the fishing port of Cros-de-Cagnes; the “Banc de Poissons”; the Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur.
- Along the river Le var – Le Broc
Close to the coast and located in the Rives du Var Departmental Nature Park, this safe trail, accessible from the age of 6, reveals the little-known aspects of the river Var.
Don’t forget your binoculars! Discover the nature and the protected fauna against the backdrop of the Mercantour mountains, which will enhance your walk.
The first section of the itinerary takes you around Lac de Broc on a dirt track, to be done by mountain bike. The second, on a cycle track, allows you to follow the banks of the Var as far as the Charles-Albert bridge.
To be seen: the Lac du Broc; the ornithological observatory; the clear waters of the lake and the aquatic fauna; the stories of the old border; the marks of the 1994 flood; the dikes.
