The Great Alps Route

This mythical route takes you from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean via the most famous of the great Alpine passes. 720 kilometres, 18 mythical passes (Galibier pass, Lautaret pass, Izoard pass, Vars pass, Couillole pass, Saint Martin pass, Turini pass, Eze pass) and 14 stages, the Great Alps Route is undoubtedly the most majestic of all mountain bike routes.

On the territory of the metropolis, the main route goes over the Col de la Couillole and the variant over the Col de la Bonette.
Main route : Valberg – Beuil – Col de la Couillole- Roubion – Saint Sauveur sur Tinée – Valdeblore – Saint Dalmas – La Colmiane/Col Saint Martin – Saint Martin Vésubie – Roquebilière – La Bollène Vésubie – Col de Turini – Moulinet – Sospel – Menton – La Turbie – Eze le Col ( M2564) – Villefranche sur mer – Beaulieu sur Mer – Nice
Variant : Variant n°6: Jausiers (junction before Barcelonnette) – Auron – Saint Sauveur sur Tinée (deletes Barcelonnette – Valberg and Roubion) .
