Accessibility in Cagnes-sur-Mer
The town of Cagnes-sur-Mer and its partners are developing a proactive policy aimed at welcoming people with reduced mobility and people with disabilities by offering a number of facilities specially dedicated to them.
For more information, contact the Tourist Office on 04 93 20 61 64 – “Tourisme et Handicap” accredited (town centre and Cros-de-Cagnes branches) for motor, visual, hearing and mental disabilities.
The Cagnes-sur-Mer information offices were awarded the “Tourism and Disability” label in June 2008, renewed on 31 December 2014, for all 4 disabilities (motor, visual, hearing and mental). On site, you’ll find equipment, facilities and documentation for visitors with disabilities.

Transport and parking

Mobil’azur is a public transport service for people with reduced mobility in the Nice Côte d’Azur metropolitan area. For more information, contact the call centre on 0 805 20 06 06 (freephone number) or 04 93 54 58 18.
🅿️ Cagnes-sur-Mer has around 150 free parking spaces reserved for G.I.G.s and G.I.C.s throughout the municipality. Some are located less than 20 m from each information desk, with easy access for PRMs.
Accessible leisure activities and sites
The fishermen’s village at Cros-de-Cagnes: guided tour accessible to people with motor or visual disabilities.
The Renoir Museum: free admission on presentation of an Inclusive Mobility Card (CMI). An electric shuttle bus runs between the car park and the museum, booking required on 04 93 02 61 07.
Other accessible sites: Hippodrome de la Côte d’Azur, Centre Commercial Polygone Riviera, Cinéma / Théâtre, Cinéma CGR, Casino Terrazur.
Sports activities
Handiplage: located on rue du Capitaine de Frégate H. Vial, between the Cros-de-Cagnes port-abri and the Centre Loisirs Jeunesse. This beach offers wheelchairs, assisted swimming and adapted facilities.
