Discover Bairols with the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau
A medieval village nestling in an impressive setting, Bairols was built on a ridge at an altitude of 830 m, overlooking the Tinée valley. It is a “village of thousand-year-old stones” and its cool lanes, vaults, covered passages and dizzying staircases lead to remarkable panoramic views. For walking enthusiasts, there are many starting points for hikes.

Sainte-Marguerite church
Built on the edge of a cliff, it has an asymmetrical façade and houses a statue of Saint Marguerite as well as a Rosary altar by Giovanni Rocca.
