The refuge, which is mainly dedicated to hikers, is open from April to October, with the option of short stays of up to 3 days.
The Granges de la Brasque refuge is located on the GR5, halfway between Saint-Dalmas Valdeblore and Utelle. It's an idyllic place to stop off for a while.
- 10 cabins sleeping 54 people, including a 2-person PRM cabin, a 2-person lovers' cabin and 8 cabins for 6 people.
-A toilet block with 3 showers and 3 toilets.

Access by vehicle is also possible, either via the forest tracks at Lantosque and Roquebillière, or by road via La Tour-sur-Tinée.
